Marvin served as Vice-Chair of the Commercial Registration Appeal Tribunal (Ontario), an Adjudicator and Referee for the Federal Minister of Labour, an Arbitrator for the Ontario Insurance Commission, an Arbitrator for the Canadian Centre for Sports and Law, and a Member of the Ontario Hepatitis C Assistance Plan Review (Appeal) Committee.
Marvin has extensive experience and expertise in representing clients before numerous government agencies and administrative tribunals at the Federal, Provincial and Municipal levels, including Securities Commissions, Labour and Municipal Boards, Human Rights Commissions, Environmental, Licence, Rental Housing, Special Education, and Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunals, the Competition Tribunal, National Transportation Agency, Financial Services Commission, and Boards of Inquiry, to name a few.
He currently serves as outside Counsel for the Ontario Licence Appeal Tribunal.
Marvin has acted as outside Senior Counsel for the Ontario Human Rights Commission for many years in landmark cases involving drug and alcohol testing, discrimination in employment, and the constitutionality of legislation and governmental action.
